You've got a good point David, when I was writing this post it never even occured to me that I am still young. Despite the fact that I am only seventeen I still occassionally miss the bliss of ignorance. Although I am much more ignorant than many people, I also remember when I was in eigth grade I was terribly naive and when I learned what I never saw, I was shocked. It seems today everyone is growing up so fast, maybe its always been that way, I suppose I really don't know. Anyways, I have a lot to learn, I know. :-) I stole my newest philosophy straight out of a Beatle's song
There will be an answer, let it be.

I miss the carefree bliss of being young; before you learn of the bad things that are happening in your world.

Being young? You are only eighteen! Sure, there are bad things in the world, and you don't know the half of them at your age and can't imagine some of the future bad things that people haven't even dreamed up yet.

But more importantly, each day is a miracle full of terrific new things. Ignorance is bliss, perhaps, but knowledge is King. Fortunately for all of us, the good things far, far outweight the bad, don't you think?
