Green Stuff I Love
I don’t have a recipe for you today, so I figured I’d wow you with my charm and wit, instead. Green is my favorite color; as we speak, I am drinking coffee out of a green polka-dot mug and wearing green pajama pants (yes, I am still in my pajamas, thank you very much). If you’ve perused my blog before, you know that I love leafy greens and that I am also a big fan of going green.

Happy Fall! What’s in Season?
There is a lot to love about fall. Of course, I am also excited about carving a halloween jack-o-lantern! I never buy apples out of season. I detest those giantantic, dense apples imported from who-knows-where; I wait patiently for the arrival of those delicious, little mac apples. I am not-so-patiently waiting for the return of my all-time favorite fruit: pomegranites.

My Windowsill Garden
This past spring, I set out to prove that anyone can grow their own fresh vegetables. Even if your apartment is teeny-tiny (like mine) or if you have absolutely zero yard (again, that’s me). I do love my apartment! The lack of space is a sacrifice that I am willing to make in order to save as much money as I can for a house. However, it does pose a few garden-related challenges. I considered it a challenge.

Going Organic
I am college student who works part time as a cashier at a grocery store. Needless to say, school leaves my pockets rather empty. I think switching to organic products is very important. Not only are you improving your health and freeing your and your family’s bodies from disease-causing chemicals, but you are also supporting these wonderful business who utilize ethical, environmentally-friendly, sustainable practices.
