Read this if you love eggs!
Ever wondered what the difference between brown and white eggs is? Or, what it takes to earn a USDA certification? I have! I found this interesting article online and I thought I’d share it with you! I was particularly turned off by the definition of “free-range” which isn’t as noble as it sounds. If you eat meat or eggs, look for the “certified humane” label.

Vindication
Remember this post I wrote about Nutella’s misleading advertisements? Well, I wasn’t the only one to notice. Here is an article from CBS News about a California mom who won $3.05 million when she sued them for false advertising! Nutella is a great example of the importance of reading labels! Sure, it is delicious and it certainly isn’t the worst thing you could eat, but it is not healthy. Perhaps in the future, Nutella will face the facts and market their product as junk food, like they should have been doing all along.

Why I Quit the Treadmill
I love running, but only when it is sunny, warm and the scenery is beautiful. I don’t run in the winter, when it is raining, on a treadmill, or on the side of an ugly highway. Running on the treadmill is boring. So boring in fact that I felt uninspired and unmotivated during my work out. I love strength training, but I felt so guilty if I skipped the treadmill that I avoided the gym all together. When I would push myself to do 10 or 15 minutes on the treadmill I was miserable. So, I quit.
